Hello to the Dark Side,
The SASS NW Territorial BP Shootout is now history.
The smoke was thick, the laughter loud and everyone said they had a great time. The Dalles provided it's usual "breezes" so targets could be seen without difficulty. Even though it was a bit cold we had no rain, and managed to warm up by staying under cover for our Potluck Saturday night. We all enjoyed the company and lots of great food. Hey, ask the Thayer Clan about those fabulous Chocolate/Brownie type cookies cooked in a Belgian Waffler, broken up and frosted. Heavenly!!
There was one clean match winner. Congratulations to Wiley Bob who managed to shoot the entire match with no misses or penalties! He is truly in a class by himself for this shoot!!
We wish to thank all of you who helped with set-up and take-down, your hard work is appreciated and sure made things go quickly. Also those who pitched in to help clean the bays after the match.
We'll do 'er again next year, same time, same place so mark your calendars for the Fourth weekend in May. Our flyer will be e-mailed out Thanksgiving weekend so be lookin' for it.
